The DC Mayor's Office on African Affairs (OAA) hosted a business seminar for local residents on Friday, April 6. A number of businesses and entrepreneurs from the Ethiopian community also participated in the event. OAA Director Ngozi Nmezi (above) said: "The District's desire to establish more businesses inside the Beltway is definitely strengthened by the business conference...Its pleasing to see so many people take part in the opportunities the District provides for its residents..." On Friday, and estimated 200 people were in attendance at the Mayor’s Office on African Affairs (OAA) forum entitled, From DC to Africa, Growing Local and Going Global: Expanding your Business through Local, Federal and International Opportunities which was held at the 11th Floor Conference Room at 441 4th Street NW, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
