    It`s a great story, I like it.

She may have changed now, but when I met her in Addis few years ago, she complained about anything and everything in Addis, from bad smell of the city, to bad road condition, from lots of beggars on the street to the food test in some restaurants, etc.

I think what she’s doing to magnify the beauty of Ethiopian and really all African textiles is really important. I hope we see many more gifted individuals marketing finished products that reflect the skill and history of our nation. It ain’t called Tibeb for nothing! Plus great work on the school, no greater gift than education!

I am impressed by what she is doing and ,above all, the spirit! I am the more impressed by the homage she paid for those who paved the way with Their Lives, Their Blood and Sweat, African Americans. It is the more Poignant coming as it does from people as recently as I know claim “Eña tiqur aydelenm” One should only mention the Aiga Forum reference to Obama!” Standing on their Shoulder” homage is outstanding.

The comment above by Tora is, if not typical, not unusual. We,males, easily get threatened by the achievement of the opposite sex. Most of us, I am afraid , did not as yet transcend the notion that women essentially belong in the kitchen. We will get there!

It is a great story. Go lady go! Keep the great work up.

Her uncompromising love to her people and country is an uplifting;regardless of her
celebrity status.I am one of those Ethiopians who to see my Ethiopian royal blood runs
among each other; I am not saying it is right, but I love to see our queens and princes only for us not anyone.

I guess it is very important to respect and tolerate each other opinion and learn to
agree to disagree.AC’s criticisms of Tora is uncalled for, all he said was his experience and that is all what we say when we go home for the first time after a long absence.

    One Love

that story is a bunch of crap. everyone knows they were having an affair while he was still married. everyone knows he paid for any and all of the “designing” she does. she’s never even visited the schools she is supposed to be involved in. its also crap that she claims to be focusing on her children, when everyone knows she has nannies working round the clock so she doesn’t have to deal with the kids herself. everything she does is a front

i think its hilarious that she claims to be a hard worker when she’s never had a real job in her life (except at spago when they were having an affair)

    Abe,

Your comment is totally crap. It belongs in a garbage can. Gellila is fine. Look at her…absolutely beautiful and classy. The man is obviously more in love with her than anyone else because he is married to her. Frankly he is not even fit to tie her shoes, but who cares how they got together as long as it is working for them. May all their dreams and their children dreams come true. And May they be protected from evil seekers upon them. You know who you are.

All that Abe wrote is true. Ms Puck is full of lies…way too many and has a terrible reputation wherever she sets foot.
Know locally as Gaglila and Granola and carries no respect.
Amazing what a few pennies, try hard PR and glossy photos can create.
Even then, as much as they all try the monster still comes out of the girl…check out the law suite on the link below…

You cant make this stuff up…

Wow Lisa. This article is a terrible reference. It focuses solely on portraying her shortcomings, and does not say much about the other side. In deals, it is common to mention your contacts and your abilities and hope that both parties can bring their own strengths to the table. Sometimes deals fall through. Funny though, that they make her sound like a catty bitch when it is extremely unlikely that she would present herself to them that way especially as they are both potential partners. The comments made about Shack seem like they have been taken out of context, in fact, all the comments they have included are intended on painting her as a bad person.

CAREFUL readers. All negative comments are made by Barbara Lazaroff who is obsessed by Gelila.

I don’t like her, she is not genuine
